Alisha R. Guertin
Alisha has been with the law firm of Puryear, Newman & Morton since 2007. She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law, with Honors, and a concentration in the Advocacy Program. She also served as a Student Materials Editor for the Law Review. She has been licensed in Tennessee since 2007. Prior to attending law school, Alisha attended the University of Virginia, where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology, with her concentration in Child and Adolescent Development. Alisha was born in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. and graduated from The Madeira School.
Alisha has focused her practice on general civil litigation, with an emphasis in family law, influenced by her educational background. She moved to Tennessee shortly after graduating from the UVA and has never looked back. Aside from the drive to Neyland Stadium which she regularly makes in the fall, Alisha has fallen in love with Middle Tennessee, especially downtown Franklin.
Alisha is a member of the Tennessee and Williamson County Bar Associations, and actively involved in volunteerism with CASA and the Junior League of Nashville. She currently lives in the Bellevue area of greater Nashville.
