Chas Morton
Charles E. Morton IV is a founding partner of Puryear, Newman & Morton, PLLC. He was raised in Franklin, Tennessee and attended Battle Ground Academy before attaining his bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Stanford University and his juris doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Mr. Morton’s practice focuses on real estate, probate and small business matters. Prior to founding PNM, Chas was an attorney at Berry & Oglesby in Franklin. Chas is a past president of the Franklin Noon Rotary Club, a graduate of Leadership Franklin and a past board member of the Franklin Family YMCA and the Battle Ground Academy Alumni Association. He is the District 4 Chairperson for the Tennessee Mock Trial Competition and current treasurer of the Williamson County Bar Association. In 2009, the Williamson County Bar Association awarded Chas its President's Award for his work with the Mock Trial.
Chas and his wife Christa live in Franklin with their twin children, Lily and Chase.
